Mama and I have been talking about getting a new stud Chi... I have had so many people ask about Nim saying how they want a long coated Chi. Marcus is an amazing stud; throwing blues and mainly females, but no matter how many females he throws, if they aren't cute, they wont sell so well. There are so many short coated Chihuahuas, espcially in my area, I really want to stand out so more people will want my little dears... not to mention the fact I like to look and play with cute thinkgs and I like long coated Chis better then short coated ones. :) So I went long-coated-Chi-searching. I called a pet store near us and found out that they ask $500-$650 for thier AKC registered Chis. I like the idea of dogs being registered, but Julia isn't so the pups wont be, so it really doesn't matter what my stud is registered with. $500 is alot of money, and I am wanting to get a Papillon in the fall with the money from Julia's 2010 litter as well. I went looking, calling, and e-mailing breeders closest to us and the only long coated male Chi that was availabe for a price I want to pay is him... Pup #1-1-10...
I called the breeder and he is such a sweet man! He told me he is going to be 3 or 4 lbs full grown, and is CKC registered. He is $400 and 3 hours away in Corning Ca. He was born on Feb. 15, 2010. Mama said she would drive me over there! :) My mom sent out the deposit on Tuesday, the 16th, for me. I am so excited! We are hopping we can bring him home on April 18th, he will be 8 weeks and 3 days old.
Notice his wavy coat!! I love his markings... alot like a Papillon's! I love Papillons. :)
Notice here, the white marking on his face... And black tail. I think he is so cute!... Takes the eyes of a mother, sometimes! LOL! I am naming him Shakespeare. :)
