On Thanksgiving I put my babies in their pen outside like always. Not too long after my sister told me that our half Great Pyrenees dog had been in there and Marcus was crying. I ran up there and figured out that Buster had attacked Marky... he somehow thought Julia was his during her heat cycle, and attacked.
He is a severe drama king! So I didn't know how badly he truly was hurt, but his left leg was hurt badly and his right ribcage hurt him.
He is all better now, and his injuries did not prevent him from mating, so I am thank full! :) His ribs seemed okay after maybe 2/3 days, and he limped for maybe 4/5 days, but now he is all better and my normal Marcus Romeo!
They really seem to love each other, and get along great except when one is sleeping and the other tries to lay on her/him, then there is a bit of growling. :)
In a way I am glad he had that accident... I feel it has strengthened my faith in Yahweh, and I am ashamed to say, I hadn't thought to surrender Marcus to Him until then. I have Julia and her pups, but not him. So now he belongs to Yahweh, and doesn't He take such good care of His belongings!? :)
Also, his pain tolerance may have gone up... I can play roughly with him and he won't scream so much! He's actually enjoying my petting and scratching him! :)
